This bible craft is perfect to make at Sunday school, homeschool co-op, or even just a fun project to make together at home! Kids will have so much fun making a colorful coat, plus you can even add a scripture verse from the story of Joseph to the back to help them memorize.

Supplies Needed:

To make this Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors Craft you will need a fun simple supplies. You should use cardstock but could use construction paper if you didn’t have any, however computer paper would be way too thin. You also need white glue or Modge Podge to glue the tissue paper, a glue stick would just be too thick. Lastly, you can use a paintbrush to spread the glue on if you don’t have a sponge brush.

How to Make a Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors Craft:

Cut up several colors of tissue paper into small pieces or strips. Then draw an out line of Joseph’s coat on a piece of cardstock.

Next, flip the cardstock over and use the sponge brush to spread a thin layer of glue on in one small section at a time. Layer tissue paper pieces over the glue. Brush down with more glue if needed. Repeat until the majority of the cardstock is covered.

Finally, cut out the outline and you have Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors!
